Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Casts Vote in Davao
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President casted her votes for the May 2025 Midterm Elections in a school in Davao City.
Vice Pres. Duterte is one of the current government officials who campaigned fervently for her bets in the 2025 Elections. Today, May 12, both local and national elections are held and it is a special non-working holiday for the Filipinos.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte supports the senatorial bids of Senator Imee Marcos, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, and the PDP-Laban bets. The Duterte siblings campaign fervently for the senatorial bets of the PDP-Laban or the #Duter10 as per the request of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
The elder Duterte is currently detained in The Hague, Netherlands. He is faced with an allegation of crimes against humanity before the International Criminal Court (ICC). Duterte remains a candidate for mayor in Davao City.

Recently, it was confirmed that Vice Pres. Sara Duterte has cast her votes. Based on a report on GMA News, the Vice President voted at the Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School (DRANHS) in Barangay Matina Crossing past 8 a.m. She was wearing a black polo shirt inside the cluster precinct number 352.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who is currently detained in The Hague was also listed as a voter at DRANHS. The former president’s youngest son, outgoing Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte, is the running mate of their father in the 2025 Elections.

Prior to the elections, Vice Pres. Duterte has joined several campaign sorties to endorse her senatorial bets. She also endorsed Manila mayoralty candidate Isko Moreno. At the different campaign sorties she joined, the Vice President has aired out tirades against Pres. Bongbong Marcos and his administration.
Without naming Marcos Jr., in her final pitch for the PDP-Laban senatorial candidates, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that the Filipinos are now paying the price for choosing the wrong leader.
Amid the calls from her supporters to run for the 2028 presidential elections, Vice Pres. Duterte said she has yet to decide on whether or not she will run for president. She admitted that she is studying the current elections and there are factors that she will have to consider like the budget.
