Pres. Bongbong Marcos has this message for the Filipinos in line with the election day
President Bongbong Marcos shared these reminders to the Filipino voters as they are set to cast their votes in the 2025 elections.
On May 12, 2025, the Philippines will hail a new set of public servants. Veterans and newbies in the political arena aspire to be in the government. These past weeks, issues and controversies surfaced involving some politicians.
In some areas, the campaign events became intense as opponents would openly attack each other whether at the national or local level.
On Sunday, May 11, President Bongbong Marcos released a video message to every Filipino who would go out the next day to cast their votes.
The Chief Executive of the Philippines reminded Filipinos to use their right and do their responsibility as citizens of the country. He said that this would be the time to make the people’s voices be heard to express a vital aspiration, personally and for the country.
“Iba’t iba man ang ating paniniwala, ‘yan ang diwa ng demokrasya. Pero ang pagkakaiba ng opinyon ay hindi dapat mauwi sa gulo o pananakot. Ipinaglalaban natin ang kinabukasan sa balota. Hindi sa lansangan. Hindi sa karahasan,” the President said.
“With this, he encouraged Filipinos to go out and vote. Piliin ang tapat, may malasakit, at may kakayahang magsilbi,” PBBM stressed.
He also shared his message to the candidates to respect the process and to finish the elections with honor and peacefulness.
Presindent Bongbong Marcos also encouraged everybody to work hand in hand to maintain peace and order. “Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino. Mabuhay ang ating demokrasya,” he added.
Yesterday, the President asked the public to vote for the candidates under the administration’s ticket, Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago. He said that this is vital so that the administration’s projects and programs will be continued.
