Marcos Jr.’s Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), the Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD), the National Unity Party (NUP), the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), and the Nacionalista Party compose the grand alliance. PBBM led the endorsement of its senatorial slate in the different cities and provinces in the country.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos previously called the Alyansa candidates as his “dream team”. He boasted the grand alliance’s senatorial bets as people who already have an experience in public service.

However, in the middle of the campaign season, Senator Imee Marcos left the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago. The Presidential Sister claimed that her ideals and principles in life do not align with the actions of the administration on the arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

The Alyansa is left with 11 senatorial bets. Despite the President’s order to probe the Villar-owned PrimeWater, the grand alliance previously maintained that Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar remains a part of the team. Here are the senatorial bets of the grand alliance:

  • Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos
  • Sen. Francis Tolentino
  • Sen. Pia Cayetano
  • former Sen. Manny Pacquiao
  • Makati City Mayor Abby Binay
  • Sen. Lito Lapid
  • former Senator Panfilo Lacson
  • Sen. Ramon ”Bong” Revilla Jr.
  • Deputy Speaker Camille Villar
  • former Senator Vicente Sotto III,
  • former Social Welfare and Development Secretary Erwin Tulfo

Recently, the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago made their final campaign. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, in his final pitch, Pres. Bongbong Marcos called on the Filipinos to vote for the bets of the administration for the continuation of the projects and programs started by the government.

“Kaya po kahit nais natin na ipagpatuloy ang ating mga magnadang nagawa na, ngunit alam naman po natin ay walang katapusan po ang trabaho ng serbiyo publiko at ito po ay marami pang kailangang gawin. Nakakatuwa naman po na nasimulan na natin,” he said.

According to Pres. Bongbong Marcos, the people are now experiencing a better governance with the projects and programs that have been started. He called for unity to empower the programs and projects so all sectors in the society will also improve.

“Marami na tayong mahalagang proyekto at programang nasimulan na. Kaya nararamdaman na ng ating mga kababayan ang mas magandang patakbo ng ating pamahalaan. Kailangan na kailangan hindi lamang natin ipagpatuloy ito,” the President expressed.

Based on the report, Pres. Marcos said they united all the best senatorial bets under the Alyansa’s senatorial slate to continue the progress in the country. He stressed that many happened because of the unity and he has lots of good news including the fast growing economy of the country.

“Ngayon po ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas ay kinikilala sa buong mundo isa sa pinakamabilis ang paglaki at pag-unlad ng ekonomiya sa buong mundo ‘yan ang pagkakilala ngayon ng Pilipinas,” Marcos said.

The President ended his speech chanting “Alyansa All the Way” — his chant after his sister, Senator Imee, left the senatorial slate.

Previously, former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos stressed that the Alyansa is pro-Philippines. Amid the campaign season, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte called on the Filipinos not to vote for the candidates of Pres. Bongbong Marcos in the upcoming elections.
