Former Pres. Duterte’s Daughter Kitty Duterte Fights for Detained Dad’s Political Battle
KITTY DUTERTE – The youngest daughter of former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte explained why she decided to join the PDP-Laban campaign rally.
Following the request of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who is currently detained in The Hague, the Duterte siblings committed to campaign for the PDP-Laban candidates of their father. Duterte’s long-time partner, Honeylet Avanceña, also joined the campaign sorties to endorse the #Duter10.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is endorsing the #Dutert10 as well as the senatorial bids of retired Colonel Ariel Querubin and former Senator Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan. Here are the #Duter10:

Kitty Duterte, the youngest among the Duterte siblings, joined the campaign sorties of the PDP-Laban to endorse the senatorial bets of her father. Previously, she stressed that she decided to join the campaign rallies after her father was taken away from her. She and Honeylet Avanceña were the ones with the former President when he was arrested last March 11.
Recently, Kitty Duterte spoke before the crowd at the PDP-Laban campaign rally at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila to campaign for the #Duter10. According to the 21-year-old college student, she supposedly does not want to join politics as she is still a student but because of what was done to her father, she wants to fight for her family and the country.
“Ayaw ko sanang makisali sa politika. Pero nang dahil sa… pag-abuso nila sa tatay ko, nandito ako ngayon para ipaglaban hindi lamang ang pamilya ko kundi ang bansang Pilipinas,” she said.
Based on the report, at the campaign rally, Kitty Duterte stressed that it is her honor to stand and fight for the Philippines, for her fellow Filipino people, for her family, and for former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who she described as her father who loved her into the woman that she is now.
“To my Dada Rudy… pinalangga ka ni Kitty. Know that I remain unafraid, unbent, and unswayed—just like you. Your battle is my battle,” the youngest daughter of the former President said.
Previously, at a campaign rally, Kitty’s mom Honeylet Avanceña claimed that former Pres. Duterte loved the Filipinos and the country more than his own family. According to her, the former President can be accused of anything including his being fond of women but he can never be questioned about his patriotism.
