Following the controversial arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, there is now an even wider gap between the Dutertes and the Marcoses. The President and the Vice President even have different senatorial slates in the upcoming elections.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos supports the Alyansa candidates which he called his “dream team” while Vice Pres. Sara Duterte endorses presidential sister Senator Imee Marcos, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, and the PDP-Laban bets. Sen. Marcos left the Alyansa following the arrest of former Pres.

Based on the report, Atty. Claire Castro also called on the Filipinos to avoid spreading contents that were made in the sole purpose of attacking the Philippine government without factual basis.
