Female Customer Expresses Dismay Over ‘No Straw’ Policy at Famous Fast Food Chain
A female customer has questioned the ‘No Straw’ policy at a popular fast-food chain, saying, “Ang weird ng policy.”
Recently, Ashley Montemayor, a Facebook user, shared her frustration online after encountering the ‘No Straw’ policy at McDonald’s. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Montemayor posted about how strange it felt to order a Coke Float and not receive a straw. According to her, she was only given a spoon and was told that the item was “strawless.”

The female customer found this confusing because she believed that floats are meant to be enjoyed with a straw, so the drink and ice cream could be mixed together easily.
Ashley also pointed out that when the drink is ordered for takeout, a straw is provided. However, when she asked to have her order packed to go after being denied a straw for dine-in, she was told that it had to be taken “on the go,” and she felt as if she was being rushed to leave the restaurant.
The lady netizen raised a valid point about the purpose of a Coke Float. Without a straw, she is confused about whether to eat the ice cream first and then drink the soda, or mix it with a spoon and drink it.
She also mentioned that using a tissue every sip isn’t practical, especially since only one piece is usually provided.

pero nung pinapa takeout ko na to, kelangan daw on the go na daw ako,
