Ahtisa Manalo Speaks About Her Fall In MUPH 2025 Competition

This is what Ahtisa Manalo said when she fell in the competition.

Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo tripped and fell but still got the crown, and here’s what she said about the viral moment.

Miss Universe Asia 2024 Chelsea Manalo‘s successor is Ahtisa Manalo. The beauty who represented the Quezon Province was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025, and she will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025 on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

The other winners were:

  • Miss Cosmo – Chelsea Fernandez
  • Miss Eco International – Gabriella Mai Carballo
  • Miss Supranational –  Ma. Katrina Llegado
  • 1st runner up – Teresita Ssen Marquez
  • 2nd runnerup – Yllana Marie Aduana

Recently, she appeared in the Wednesday episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” and looked back at the viral moment when she tripped and fell during the evening gown portion.

“There were stairs and I think the dulo of the gown flipped and then got caught on my heel,” Ahtisa recalled. She showed the bruise she got from that fall, and during that moment, all she had inside her head was to get up as fast as she could. She did not want to stay there on the floor for a long time.

After getting up, she still smiled and went on with her walk. She walked in a queenly manner as though the fall never happened. Towards the end of the competition, she was announced the winner.

Meanwhile, the Miss Universe pageant is six months from now in Bangkok. According to her, she won this year’s local competition after silencing her inner perfectionist. As for the international competition, she started strategizing her game plan, and the top priority is for her to be “really, really fit.”

“Being fit shows in your mind, the way you speak, the way you stand. That’s my number one project,” she said.
