Sharon Cuneta defended her husband
Megastar Sharon Cuneta was emotional during an intimate press conference as she slammed the “lies” against her husband senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan.
Sharon has been very supportive of Kiko’s political career. She was actively campaigning for her husband in the 2022 elections when he ran for vice president.
With how politics is working in the Philippines, Sharon is aware of the black propaganda and the misinformation or fake news about a certain political figure, and her husband is not exempted from this.

âI never liked politics kasi nga, in the Philippines, pagkaganda-ganda man ng intensyon mo, pagkaayos-ayos man ng puso mo, natatalo ka ng fake news saka budget na bilyon-bilyon ng ibang kandidato na wala naman kami. Lahat ng meron kami, pinaghirapan naming dalawa,â the Megastar said while she was crying.
Then, she asked why people did not want to vote for Kiko and what could be their doubts. She stressed that “lies” are being released against her husband but stressed that they have receipts to counter-attack these.
Sharon also said that as a wife and mother of their children, their pride is that Kiko is has “matinong pagkatao.” “Wala namang perpekto, âdi ba, lalo tayo sa showbiz, Diyos ko po! Pero maayos ang pinanggagalingan namin, maayos kaming pinalaki ng mga magulang namin,” she said.
Sharon Cuneta also said that she is so blessed to have a husband like Kiko Pangilinan who will never hurt her and someone who is a good father also. She added that her husband does not have a lot but he would still give everything for them. The actress-singer stressed that Kiko has a big heart for the Philippines. He shared his prayer for the country last Lenten Season.
