PBB’s Xyriel Manabat Finds Emotional Closure After Reading Heartfelt Message from Her Dad
XYRIEL MANABAT – Kapamilya star Xyriel Manabat experienced a powerful moment of emotional closure on Pinoy Big Brother after reading a touching letter from her father.
A deeply moving scene took place inside the Pinoy Big Brother house as Xyriel Manabat bravely opened up about the struggles she faced within her family. Speaking to her fellow housemates, the young actress shared the emotional burden she had been carrying for years, particularly involving her father.
Xyriel admitted that forgiving her parents was a difficult process. However, as time passed, she gradually learned to accept their imperfections and chose the path of forgiveness.
“Last year lang din kami naging healthy ng family ko,” she recalled, referring to a heartfelt embrace that marked the start of their emotional healing. She reflected on how her mindset shifted, choosing inner peace over lingering resentment.
“Inopen up ko sa kaniya na gustong-gusto ko siyang bigyan ng chance para maging tatay. Last year, I found peace. Hindi ko alam pero nagising na lang ako na gusto kong patawarin ‘yong parents ko,” Xyriel revealed, showing a renewed sense of hope and reconciliation in their bond.
Though she had held onto resentment for a long time, she eventually realized the importance of letting go to heal from past wounds. “Ang dami kong rason para magtanim ng sama ng loob,” she admitted, “pero narealize ko lang na first time rin nila maging magulang.”
One of the most emotional parts of her story came when she read a letter from her father—a sincere message filled with love and apologies. “Mahal na mahal ka namin… Sorry sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko,” the letter read, bringing Xyriel and her housemates to tears.
Her heartfelt confession served as a powerful reminder that choosing compassion and forgiveness can pave the way to mending even the deepest familial rifts.
