Young Man Recounts Reaching Out to Content Creators for Help to Continue His Studies
A young man shared his story of how he reached out to content creators for help in pursuing his education.
Recently, Brayarn, a Facebook user, shared about a difficult chapter in his life, when he reached out to content creators, asking for help so he could continue his education. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Brayarn shared that years ago, he was so determined to study that he messaged popular content creators, hoping someone would take him in as a scholar. He admitted it was an embarrassing move at the time, especially since he didn’t know them personally.
“Grabe!! Sa sobrang desperado ko talagang mag-aral nitong mga panahon na ‘to, nagawa ko talagang mag-message sa mga content creators. Nakakahiya siya kasi parang ang kapal ng mukha ko kasi hindi ko naman sila kaano-ano pero wala eh, walang wala talaga at may pangarap talaga ako,” he said.
Still, he had nothing to lose and everything to gain. With no resources and a strong desire to finish school, he took the risk even if no one replied.
Although none of the creators responded, Brayarn said it became a turning point in his life. Instead of feeling discouraged, he used it as motivation to work harder and find his own way. That moment of desperation taught him to be resourceful and driven.
Now, years later, he’s in a much better place and is living the promise to help others. He believes in paying it forward and says being kind and generous doesn’t cost anything. He’s grateful for his younger self, whose courage and determination led him to where he is today.
“Noong time na yun, kasi alam ko yung hirap, sabi ko talaga kapag sobrang successful na ako, kukuha talaga ako ng scholars na pag-aaralin ko,” he added.
The young man realizes that one bold move started the change in his life.
