People and fans are thrilled after a magazine teased about having big stars Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre in one project. They are the latest cover artists of Cosmopolitan Philippines for its May 2025 issue.
As much as we all know, Lustre is an award-winning actress. She won the Best Actress award at the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival for her role in “Deleter” and again at the 2023 FAMAS Awards for her performance in “Greed.”
She also won the Best Actress award at the 2024 PMPC Star Awards for Movies for her role in “Deleter” and another Best Actress award in 2019 for “Never Not Love You” from the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS). She had been nominated as well for Best Actress by the Young Critics Circle.
Meanwhile, Bernardo is currently holding the Box Office Queen title after her film “Hello, Love, Again” scored over a billion in terms of earnings worldwide. As of this writing, this is the highest-grossing Filipino film after recording Php 1.6 billion in worldwide box office.
She is also one of the most in-demand endorsers of today, and currently, she is taking a breather by being a judge of Pilipinas Got Talent in its newest edition.
In working together for a magazine cover, the two described each other. According to Lustre, she admired Kathryn for stepping into her own power while being graceful and grounded at the same time. She also has this quiet strength that inspires women to do the same.
As for Kathryn, she expressed about Nadine, “[Nadine] is just very inspiring. I think there’s something powerful about a woman when she’s unapologetically being herself. I think she’s very authentic.”
