Pres. Bongbong Marcos Says Labor Day Chance to Make Concrete Ways To Help Filipino Families
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President gave a message for the workers on Labor Day assuring them of the government’s commitment to their welfare.
Every year, there are several regular holidays and special non-working days in the Philippines. Undeniably, the Philippine holidays 2025 are among the days that many people await as it can either be a well-earned rest or an extra pay for the day.

Today, the Philippines celebrate the Labor Day. This holiday is meant to celebrate and recognize the contributions of the laborers in the success of the country and the things it has achieved. It is a regular holiday, thus, work in both public and private sectors are cancelled.
Workers who report to duty on Labor Day receives an extra pay. Today, Pres. Bongbong Marcos has issued a message for the workers.

Based on a report on GMA News, Pres. Bongbong Marcos stressed that the Labor Day celebration is a chance to create concrete steps to fulfill the needs of every Filipino family, ensure the safety of the laborers in their workplace, and protect the right to a bright future.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos also stressed that the policies that must be implemented should reflect the conviction that the real wealth of the country is not measured based on the income of the nation but the dignity of the people who are working hard.
The President, in his Labor Day message for the Filipino workers, assured the laborers that the government will be an “active partner” the creation of the new Philippines (Bagong Pilipinas), a society that is fair and just. Based on the report, he also stressed the government’s serious commitment not to neglect the workers.
”Taimtim ang aming paninindigang kayo ay hindi pababayaan, bagkus ay higit pang itataguyod-hindi bilang tungkulin lamang, kung hindi bilang pasasalamat at pagkilala sa inyong tunay na halaga at sakripisyo,” Marcos Jr. said.
Prior to the Labor Day celebration in the country, Pres. Bongbong Marcos spoke to the graduates of the PNPA Class of 2025 in Silang, Cavite where he delivered an inspiring message to the graduates.
