Cat Passes Away After Being Thrown by Man in Bulacan Market
An animal rights group is investigating the case of a cat that died after being thrown by a man at a market in Bulacan.
Last Saturday morning (April 26, 2025), a heartbreaking incident happened at a public market in Meycauayan, Bulacan. A cat lost its life after being violently attacked by a man, as seen in a CCTV footage.
The video shows a cat peacefully walking in the market when a man suddenly chased, grabbed, and threw it forcefully onto the concrete floor. Shockingly, the man repeated the act multiple times before walking away as if nothing happened.

People nearby tried to help the injured cat, but after over 30 minutes, it became weak and sadly passed away. The incident has caused sadness and anger among animal lovers and local residents.
According to the Animal Kingdom Foundation, they have identified the man involved. He is reportedly the son of a stall owner in the market and had just recently been released from jail. The foundation is now working with the City Veterinary Office to file a legal case against him.

Meanwhile, the person who uploaded the video online has started receiving threats and is now asking for protection. Out of fear for his safety, he has not returned to his store in the market.

Animal Kingdom Foundation continues to push for justice, reminding everyone that harming animals is a serious offense and must not be ignored. The incident calls for stronger protection for animals and stricter enforcement of the law.
Authorities and concerned groups are now taking steps to ensure that justice is served for the innocent cat.
