Vhong Navarro shared what he admires most in Tanya Bautista
It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro talked about the qualities of his wife Tanya Bautista that he admires the most.
Vhong and Tanya tied the knot in 2019 in a ceremony in Kyoto, Japan after more than a decade of being together. It was a star-studded event as It’s Showtime hosts were present and Vhong’s other friends in the entertainment industry. Despite the controversy that Vhong went through, his wife stayed by his side and their relationship continues to grow.
In a recent interview on Kapamilya journalist Bernadette Sembrano’s YouTube channel, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Vhong highlighted Tanya’s good qualities.
The comedian-host called his life partner as “ideal wife.” “Ano siya ideal [wife] talaga sya kasi bukod sa masarap magluto, magaling makisama sa mga magulang, sa parents ko, sa mga anak ko. Ang galing niya,” he said.
Vhong Navarro especially mentioned how Tanya Bautista handled their blended family. The noontime show host has two sons from his previous partner, former actress Bianca Lapus. He admires how good Tanya is when it comes to mingling with other people.
“Siyempre darating sa point na dadalawin sila ng mga nanay nila tapos nandun din si Tanya, nag-uusap sila,” he shared. For him, Tanya is also a wonderwoman because of her strength and resilience.
Then, Vhong had this message to his wife. “Mahal, salamat sa pag hindi pagbitaw at hindi ka sumuko sa pagmamahalan natin. Sa dami nating pinagdaanan natin sa buhay, as in roller coaster ride, nandiyan ka lagi sa tabi ko,” the It’s Showtime host said.
In the same interview, Vhong shared how he and Tanya met. He said that it was the time when they worked together on the movie My Only U. This was his movie with Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga, and this was directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
