Former actress Jackie Forster told her son, basketball player Kobe Paras, to protect the peace they worked for amid the recent issue about him.
Kobe has been a trending topic on social media these past few days because of his breakup issue with Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara. They already unfollowed each other after rumors circulated that they ended their relationship. Allegedly, the breakup happened in the first week of April.
Along with this issue, Kobe was accused of cheating as he was seen with a woman in Bali and this received a comment from Kyline’s brother.
Just recently, Kobe Paras was spotted holding hands with a woman, and negative comments were expressed against him, as some netizens took Kyline’s side. However, some netizens also defended Kobe, and his mother was one of them.
Jackie Forster has been sharing cryptic posts these past few days, and netizens thought that this was her way of defending her son against bashing. She even used the hashtag “mama with receipts” in one of her cryptic posts.
Just recently, Kobe shared a series of photos and Jackie wrote a comment on this. “Please protect that peace we have been working so hard to achieve [red heart emoji],” the former actress commented.
Prior to this, netizens noticed Kobe’s post featuring the song Wish I Never Met You by Tory Lanez. Netizens speculated that this has something to do with the breakup issue.
Meanwhile, in a recent social media post for a magazine feature, Kyline’s statement about choosing silence amid a controversy caught netizens’ attention. She stressed that she does not mind other people’s opinions as long as her intentions are clear. In this statement, she also mentioned that she is protecting her peace.
