Alynna Velasquez, the partner of Hajji Alejandro, shared this emotional post
OPM singer Hajji Alejandro died on April 21, and his longtime partner Alynna Velasquez shared that this was a day before their anniversary.
The entertainment industry is mourning once again after Hajji’s death was confirmed. A month ago, Alynna shared that Hajji was battling cancer. This revelation received prayers from the public with the hope that Hajji would recover.
However, a sad news was shared on social media. Hajji died and people poured messages to his family and loved ones.

The Alejandro family released a statement asked the public to get them the privacy they needed as they are grieving.
In an Instagram post on April 22, Alynna Velasquez wrote a heartfelt post about Hajji Alejandro. “My love, We spent the last 8 days of your life together. I am grateful to your kids Ali and Rachel for reaching out to me. I have been waiting. I think of you every hour of every day,” she wrote.
Alynna also shared that for 2 months, the OPM singer was battling Metastatic Colon CA, Stage 4. She said that Hajji refused to go to the hospital again and just chose palliative care at home, and in the company of his loved ones.

Hajji’s partner also sahred that they were listening to their favorite songs while in tears. “Your precious voice has been impaired because CA had constricted your respiratory system as well. But I felt your love even without words,” she said.
While the singer was in pain, restlessness and hallucinations, Alynna shared that Hajji was holding her hands. She added that Hajji tried to hold on because he knew that on April 22 is their special day.
“April 22, 2025 Happy 27th Anniversary, my one and only love, Hajji Alejandro,” she wrote.
