RODRIGO DUTERTE – The former President has a message for the Filipino people in case they won’t support his PDP-Laban political party.

The arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte has left countless supporters of the former President disappointed by the actions of the government. Malacañang defended the government by saying that it only did its job.

Malacañang also defended Pres. Bongbong Marcos from ‘betrayal’ accusations. According to the Palace, the government’s actions were in line with its commitment with the Interpol. Currently, Duterte is detained in the Hague Penitentiary Institution.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was quick to follow former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte in The Hague. Senator Robin Padilla who is the president of the PDP-Laban also wanted to talk to Duterte so he flew to The Hague.

Duterte is the chairman of the PDP-Laban. Sen. Robin Padilla previously expressed his worries over the PDP Laban candidates amid Duterte’s detention in the Netherlands. Sen. Padilla also cried during a Senate hearing on Duterte’s arrest.

Recently, Honeylet Avanceña, the long-time partner of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, claimed that the former President has a message to the Filipino people. According to her, Duterte wants to tell the Filipinos to just forget about him if they will not support his PDP Laban.

“Ngayon may mensahe siya. Sabi niya, kalimutan nyo daw siya kung ‘di nyo daw suportahan ang PDP niya. Magkalimutan na lang daw,” Duterte’s long-time partner said based on the post.

Honeylet Avanceña arrived in The Hague with Kitty Duterte ahead of the 80th birthday of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte last March 28. They spent time with Duterte during his birthday inside the ICC detention facility in The Hague.

The ICC legal team of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte has been finalized. It is led by British-Israeli lawyer Nicholas Kaufman with French lawyer Dov Jacobs as an associate counsel. Recently, the ICC released the significant dates on Duterte’s case ahead of the confirmation of charges set on September 23.
