Lady Teacher Inspires Fellow Educators After Flexing Perfect Attendance for Seven Years Straight
A lady teacher inspired her fellow educators after flexing her perfect attendance for seven consecutive years.
Recently, teacher Mabelle Hermo Apuada, a 33-year-old Science teacher at Sampaguita High School, has become an inspiration to many after proudly sharing her latest recognition, another Perfect Attendance Award for the school year 2024–2025.
“I am proud to share that I have achieved perfect attendance as a DepEd teacher, with a record of 173 out of 173 days present S.Y. 2024-2025,” Apuada said.

Her latest achievement marks her seventh consecutive year of perfect attendance. Since 2018, she has never missed a single day of work, showing up every school day without fail. For her, it is a reflection of her dedication and love for teaching.
With a record of 173 out of 173 days present this school year, Teacher Mabelle believes that being there for her students is one of the most important responsibilities of an educator. Her goal is not just to teach lessons but also to guide, support, and inspire students every day.
Before joining the public school system, she taught in a private school for six years. For the past seven years, she has continued her journey as a public school teacher under the Department of Education.

Teacher Mabelle shared that it all comes down to discipline, passion, and a strong sense of purpose to maintain this streak. She takes care of her health, manages her time well, and stays motivated by remembering why she chose this profession in the first place.
“I always aim for perfect attendance because I believe that being present is one of the most important responsibilities of a teacher,” she added.
The dedicated educator also reminds teachers to prioritize their well-being and to surround themselves with positive influences. For her, every school day is an opportunity to make a difference and she never wants to miss that chance.
