KITTY DUTERTE – The daughter of former Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte reacted to her viral photos and videos showing a U.S. Passport.
Ahead of the 80th birthday of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, he was arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and was flown by the authorities to The Hague, Netherlands. The March 11 turn of events shocked countless Filipinos and brought his supporters to the streets to call for his return to the country.
The International Criminal Court or ICC welcomed the arrest of former Pres. Duterte after several years of accusations over his administration’s war on drugs. The former President is faced with an allegation of crimes against humanity.
The former President is currently detained in the Hague Penitentiary Institution. Ahead of his 80th birthday last March 28, Duterte’s longtime partner, Honeylet Avanceña, and Kitty Duterte arrived in The Hague to visit him.
The common-law wife of the former President and their daughter have already visited him multiple times inside the ICC detention facility. Kitty Duterte even shared that they were telling the former President things that would uplift his spirit.

“I don’t mind them actually. I’m a Filipino citizen. I don’t think I have to explain since I’m a private citizen,” Kitty said.
Based on the report, in March 2017, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte told the Filipino community in Myanmar that Kitty is an American citizen. Honeylet has worked as a nurse in the United States before she returned to the country.
