Gene Padilla Shares Post After Marjorie Barretto’s “Uninvited” Remarks

Comedian Gene Padilla has shared this post online following the revelation of Marjorie Barretto about him being uninvited to the wedding.

The wedding of Claudia Barretto to Basti Lorenzo, which was supposed to be low-key and intimate, got surrounded and hounded with issues. This was because of the post of Dennis Padilla.

Meanwhile, in an interview, Marjorie clarified some claims in an interview and slammed the twisted stories Padilla spread about their children. The buzz was loud that it prompted Marjorie Barretto to step up for their children.

Point by point and without the drama, she addressed every claim Padilla made, and one of them was about his siblings. Dennis’s siblings, particularly Gene and Jennifer Baldivia, posted online criticisms about their children. She even added that Gene was not invited to the wedding.

“Gene, ano bang nira-rant mo? First things first, no offense, you were not invited to the wedding. Si Mama lang at si Dennis,” she said and added, “Kasi sa ranting niya, parang nagising pa siya nang 5 a.m., mula Bulacan, pumunta siyang Alabang. Wala naman sinabing gawin mo ‘yun. Imbes na pinahinahon mo ‘yung kapatid mo, finuel pa niya eh… hindi ka invited, Gene eh. With all due respect, my daughter has no recollection of you. Wala kayong naging relasyon.”

To recall, Gene talked about the alleged shabby treatment they received at the wedding, saying it was the first wedding they witnessed where the father of the bride did not get to walk his daughter down the aisle.

Following the response of Marjorie, Gene had this post with an intriguing caption that said, “It’s okay if you say hurtful things. You don’t know me, and I don’t know you — but I still choose to send you love, peace, and prayers for healing.”

In the comment section, Padilla expressed his support saying his brother was at no fault.

• Dennis agreed that he would not be walking Claudia down the aisle.
• She encouraged Claudia to invite him.
• Marjorie denied orchestrating the setup to embarrass Dennis.
• Dennis was assigned a front-row seat with the ninongs, but he chose to sit at the back.
• He arrived at the church with his “maangas” attitude and distanced himself.
• His mother was not mistreated at the wedding. She was graceful to her Mama Lina, and a photo was shared as proof.
• She denied stealing the moment, as she was just following the protocols of the church.
• Both of them were treated equally.
• He had an emotional outburst at the wedding.
