Xian Lim and Gabbi Garcia were chosen to be the hosts of MUPH 2025
Kapuso stars Xian Lim and Gabbi Garcia will be the main hosts of the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant.
Aside from acting, Xian and Gabbi are also into hosting. They both had experiences in hosting pageants. This year, they are set to share the same stage as hosts.
The Miss Universe Philippines is one of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the country. Pageant newbies and veterans are set to compete to represent the country in the most prestigious international beauty pageant. 70 candidates are vying for the crown.
This year, several pageant veterans are returning, such as Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez, who is not representing Muntinlupa City, and 1st Runner-up sa Miss International 2018 Ahtisa Manalo, carrying the name of her province, Quezon.
The Philippines has already won four Miss Universe crowns brought by Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray.
For the national pageant this year, Miss Universe Philippines 2025: The Coronation will feature Xian Lim and Gabbi Garcia as main hosts. Back in 2023, the Kapuso actor already hosted the pageant, while last year, Gabbi hosted the pageant for the first time.
“PILIPINAS, the popular and gifted Gabbi Garcia is returning as one of the hosts of this edition of The Coronation!” the MUPH shared in a post on Instagram announcing the actress’s return as a host.
For Xian, the MUPH wrote, “UNIVERSE, meet your host for The Coronation, the dashing XIAN LIM!”
The Miss Universe Philippines 2025 coronation night is set to happen on May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Meanwhile, this will set at Xian’s TV comeback. His last show was the series Love. Die. Repeat. last year. He took a break from acting and studied to become a licensed pilot. Gabbi, on the other hand, is one of the current hosts of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.
