Netizens React to Statement of Honeylet Avanceña, Duterte’s Partner over PH
Duterte’s partner Honeylet Avanceña congratulated the Philippines and President Bongbong Marcos for the crimes in the country.
Former Philippine Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is now under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands. He is faced with the accusation of crimes against humanity over his administration’s war on drugs.

The Duterte war on drugs is linked to thousands of deaths. Last March 15, the former Philippine President made his initial appearance before the pre-trial chamber of the ICC. The next phase is the confirmation of charges which is set on September 23.
Duterte is detained in The Hague for more than three (3) weeks now. Duterte celebrated his 80th birthday inside the detention facility of the ICC in The Hague. Ahead of his birthday, Duterte’s partner Honeylet Avanceña and their daughter, Kitty, arrived in the Netherlands to visit him.

Duterte was with Kitty and Honeylet when the authorities arrested him upon his arrival from Hong Kong last March 11. They just arrived from Hong Kong. During his detention at the Villamor Air Base, the two (2) family members of the former President were really preventing the authorities from laying a hand on him.

Kitty Duterte even claimed that it was an illegal detention citing that there was no warrant of arrest against her father. Amid the issue on whether or not there was an arrest warrant, Senator Bato dela Rosa previously admitted that there must be an arrest warrant citing that Duterte was returned to the Philippines if there was none.
Currently, the camp of Duterte is preparing for the next legal proceedings over his ICC case. His legal team is led by British-Israeli lawyer Nicolas Kaufman. The team also includes French lawyer Dov Jacobs.
Recently, at The Hague, Honeylet Avanceña was interviewed by the press. Based on a video posted by News5, Duterte’s partner recently congratulated the Philippines for another death case. She also congratulated Pres. Bongbong Marcos after citing that two (2) cities in the country were allegedly tagged in a survey as dangerous.
It is unclear if Duterte’s partner is referring to the death case of Chinese-Filipino businessman Anson Que whose dead body was recently found in Rizal. Previously, Malacañang assured that the government will act on the killing of Anson Que.
