Actress Erich Gonzales has given birth to her first baby, and here’s a photo taken from the baptism in 2023.
In 2022, the wedding banns of Erich Gonzales and Mateo Rafael Lorenzo surfaced online, which stated some details about their wedding. They tied the knot at the Saint James the Great Parish in Ayala Alabang on March 23, 2022.
Their relationship was so private and low-key. Mateo came from a wealthy family. A photo of Erich and Mateo during their wedding also emerged online, and that was all it ever was. They maintained a private relationship all throughout, that even the actress’ pregnancy and giving birth to their first baby were kept away from the public’s awareness.
In 2023, pregnancy rumors about Erich came out, and based on a previous article, Ogie Diaz said this about the matter: “Abangan natin kung may i-aannounce si Erich. Kung siya man ay hindi pa nakagampan e, tanggapin natin baka ine-enjoy niya.”
And it seems like all these rumors were true. Recently, a photo of Erich with her husband while she was holding their baby surfaced online. Erich’s husband is the brother of the husband of Claudia Barretto, Basti Lorenzo. The latter couple just recently tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.
Father Frankie Mabanta shared the photo, which came with some details. According to the post, they have a son whose name is Jose Mateo. The baby was baptized in 2023, and the priest was the same priest who also baptized the father and his other siblings and officiated the wedding of their parents in 1989.
The post stated, “Accompanying the family in the Christian faith through the sacraments. Today, I baptized Jose Mateo. He is the son of Mateo Lorenzo and Erich Gonzales Lorenzo.”
