A young woman from Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, shared a touching video of her grandmother, who always offers healthy food.
Recently, ig_ae.lexi_, a TikTok user, shared a video of her grandmother’s loving gesture. Every time she visits, her grandma makes sure to offer her healthy food. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The video shows a heartwarming moment between a granddaughter and her lola, who lovingly offered her bananas, every time she visits.
The granddaughter, Ollie Ordenes Lanzar, shared that she had been feeling stressed and had not been eating well because of her busy schedule at school. Upon hearing this, her grandmother, Lola Aya, didn’t hesitate to offer her three bananas to make sure she stayed healthy.
Lanzar mentioned that this wasn’t the first time her grandma had done this. Lola Aya always gives her fruits and healthy snacks whenever she comes over, and it never fails to brighten her day.
The young woman expressed her gratitude, saying how thankful she is to have such a caring grandmother. She said that many people with close relationships with their grandmas would probably relate to her experience.

“Super na-touch po talaga ako, and I just want to share this experience kasi I’m thankful to have her, and for sure maraming makaka-relate sa mga lola’s kid like me,” Lanzar said.
Ollie also shared her dream of becoming a registered nurse soon and promised her grandma that once she finished her studies, it would be her turn to take care of her.
“Lagi ko sa kaniya sinasabi, wait niya ako maka-graduate ng nursing para ako na mag-aalaga sa kaniya. Malapit na, lola mom, magkaka-RN ka na!” she added.
