On Wednesday (April 9, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that easterlies would bring isolated rainshowers over parts of the country.

Parts of Luzon and Visayas will experience rains. Scattered rains are expected over Bicol region, such as Sorsogon and Masbate.
The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
“Sa natitirang bahagi ng Luzon, including Metro Manila, fair weather conditions nga or madalas magiging maaraw,” Estareja said.

Meanwhile, hot and humid weather is expected at noon and in the afternoon but overcast skies and isolated rain showers are possible.
Fairweather condition is expected over Northern Panay, Northern Samar, and Samar while the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.
The weather agency has also warned the residents in low-lying areas for possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.
According to PAGASA, no low-pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
