Customer Praises Bacolod Restaurant for Returning his Lost Watch

Customer Expresses Gratefulness After Retrieving Lost Watch

A male customer has expressed his admiration towards a restaurant in Bacolod City for returning his lost watch.

Recently, Harry Singh, a Facebook user, has praised a restaurant in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental for returning his lost smart watch. The post garnered various reactions from the online community,

Singh, who plans to settle in Bacolod with his wife, recounted how he had previously lost his expensive smartwatches in Metro Manila. The first time, he accidentally left his Huawei GT2 watch, worth around P15,000, at a juice bar in Tomas Morato.

When he returned the next day, the watch was nowhere to be found, and there were no CCTV recordings to review.

Months later, he bought a new Huawei GT4 smartwatch, worth P13,000, but lost it again inside a movie theater in SM Fairview. After tracing his steps, he went back a week later to check with the lost and found section.

Unfortunately, despite spending hours speaking with security personnel and administrators, his watch was never recovered.

Recently, history repeated itself when he left his Huawei D2 watch, worth around P20,000, at a restaurant in Bacolod’s Upper East area. It was only at midnight, while preparing to sleep, that he realized his watch was missing.

Since the restaurant was already closed, he had no choice but to wait until the next day. At 1 PM the following day, he returned to the restaurant and informed a staff member about his lost watch.

The manager quickly retrieved it from a drawer, neatly sealed inside a plastic bag. Unlike his previous experiences in Manila, he was able to recover his watch this time.

Harry expressed his gratitude, saying he had already lost hope but was amazed by the honesty of the restaurant staff.

“I have already decided to live here in Bacolod with my wife within the year

‍‍

But God still keeps giving me reasons why.

Back in Manila, I once lost my Huawei GT2 smart watch worth P15Kish.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

I accidentally left it at Jamba Juice sa Tomas Morato area as their last customer of the night.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

I was with my wife kasama din sina Jason Matthew Alamar and Terry Santiago.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Came back the next day but no watch was found daw and no CCTV recordings can be reviewed.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Some months after, I bought a Huawei GT4 na eco friendly and worth P13Kish.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Took it off and forgot it inside SM Fairview directors club 2 while watching Deadpool and Wolverine.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Had to trace back all my steps to realize what happened.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Took me a while alongside other scheds and tasks.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Came back 1 week after to check with their lost and found.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

The whole ordeal of talking to guards, admins and maintenance people took about 2 hours.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Again, no CCTV cameras nor enough security measures are in place for cases like these.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Left my number but they never contacted me.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

And just yesterday, I left my Huawei D2 watch worth P20Kish at a resto here in Bacolod Upper East.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Only realized it around 12AM when I was about to sleep so the store was already closed.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Came back there earlier today at 1PM.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

I told one of their crew that I forgot my watch and she shouted in Ilonggo to their manager.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

The manager immediately pulled the watch out of a drawer.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

I found it funny that it was sealed inside a plastic bag

‍‍‍‍‍‍

I actually lost hope that I’ll find my watch this third time around.

‍‍‍‍‍‍

But yeah, God had other plans

‍‍‍‍‍‍

Hope in humanity restored.”
