ABS-CBN star AC Bonifacio was defended by her friend Darren Espanto against her bashers while she was still inside the PBB.
Celebrities Ashley Ortega and AC Bonifacio were the first evictees of the “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab,” but before the eviction, the latter star was highly talked about online because of her statements and claims made while inside the house.
“Si Ashley, I feel like is still being fake in this house,” she said about Ashley, who, later on, became her partner in the competition until their eviction.
In a previous article, Ortega shared thoughts on AC’s remarks about her while they were inside the PBB house. She did not mind the words at all and did not make a big deal out of it. She understood that young people oftentimes say things they don’t really mean.
Amid the bashing while AC was still inside the house, among the people who defended her was her best friend, Darren Espanto. According to him, his friend was just misunderstood. He has known her as his best friend for many years now, and he understands why she acted the way she did while inside the house.
Upon knowing this after her eviction, she appreciated him and was thankful to him for rallying behind her during those times. She knows how much courage it took to be able to do that all on him without anyone telling him to do it.
She expressed, “Sobrang grateful lang po talaga ako kay Darren. Before pa, I mean I’ve been speaking to Darren, and I’ve been very vocal about how I love Darren. So before, now and after, I am forever grateful.”
He is her rock, and he has always been loyal friend, but never the one who tolerates bad behavior.
