PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (April 2, 2025)  

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that three weather systems will bring rains over parts of the country.  

On Wednesday (April 2, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Three weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.  

PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that cloudy skies with rainshowers are expected over parts of the country due to three weather systems.

Patuloy po ang epekto ng tatlong weather systems sa ating bansa, una na diyan ang northeasterly windflow na magdadala pulo-pulong mahihina at mga katamtamang pag-ulan at makulimlim na panahon sa may silangan bahagi po ng Northern Luzon,” Estareja said.  

The northeasterly windflow will bring cloudy skies with rains over Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Isabela, and Aurora.  

The Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Sarangani, South Cotabato, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.  

Ngayong araw asahan pa rin ang makulilim na panahon sa may silangang parte ng Northern Luzon epekto ng northeasterly windflow kabilang na diyan ang Batanes, Cagayan, Apayao, Isabela at hanggang dito sa may Aurora asahan po ang light to moderate with at times heavy rains,” he added.  

The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to PAGASA.
