Young Woman Shares Step-Father’s Suffering w/ Police Violence
A young woman has exposed the alleged police brutality her stepfather experienced while seeking help at a police station.
Recently, Step Ha Nie, a Facebook user, shared video showing officers attacking her stepfather inside the precinct. The post quickly circulated online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
On March 29, 2025, Stephanie’s stepfather was assaulted in a separate incident. Hoping to file a complaint and seek justice, he went to the Pasuquin PNP Office. However, instead of receiving assistance, he was subjected to further violence.
According to her, the police suddenly attacked her stepfather, kicking him even though he was already injured. Others who tried to intervene were also harmed. Even more alarming, an officer allegedly pointed a gun at a minor who was only trying to stop his father from retaliating.
The situation gets worse when authorities detained several people, including a 14-year-old child, without any legal basis or warrant. The incident has raised serious concerns about police abuse and the misuse of power.
Many netizens questioned how justice can be served if those meant to protect and uphold the law are the ones violating it.

“How come that the so-called “Protector and Peace Regulator” are the ones who practice violence against those who seek help?
Last March 29, my stepfather was brutally attacked. They went to report the incident at the Pasuquin PNP Office to file a complaint and seek justice. However, instead of getting the justice they sought, they were met with further violence.
Instead of listening to their concerns, the police attacked them out of nowhere. They began kicking my stepfather, who has already sustained injuries from the earlier attack. Not only that, but they also attacked those trying to intervene. What’s more disappointing is that they pointed a gun at a minor who was simply trying to tell his father not to fight back.
Afterward, they detained their companions, including a 14-year-old minor, without a valid reason or warrant.
How can we seek justice if the people in power abuse their power in this way?
We share this as a warning and a call for justice. They sought help from the police, but were treated like criminals. A gun was pointed at a child. A man was attacked for simply requesting a blotter report. And an innocent bystander was beaten. This abuse of power must not go unpunished.”
