Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Expresses Oneness w/ Muslim Community in Eid’l Fitr Message
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President released a message for the Muslim community on the Eid’l Fitr celebration.
Today, the Muslim community is set to hold their celebration of the Eid’l Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan. The Muslims are set to start their celebration on the evening of Monday, March 31, until the dawn of Tuesday, April 1.

President Bongbong Marcos declared April 1 as a regular holiday for the Eid’l Fitr celebration. It is one of the five (5) holidays in April 2025. Classes are cancelled in all levels in schools on Tuesday as well as the work in both public and private establishments.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte released a message for the Muslim community as they celebrate the Eid’l Fitr. In a video message posted on the official Facebook page of the Office of the Vice President, she she expressed oneness with the Muslims in their celebration of the end of Ramadan which she described as a time of prayer, sacrifice, and reflection.

According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, the Eid’l Fitr celebration is not only a reminder of the goodness of Allah but as well as the important teachings of Qur’an which are unity and the sharing of blessings to family and most especially to those who are in need.

The Vice President also expressed her hope that the end of Ramadan will bring the Muslim people peace in their hearts, light in their minds, and endless joy in their homes. According to her, may their prayers be heard, their sacrifices be rewarded, and their lives be blessed with love and prosperity.
