Has Jak Roberto found a new love?
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez revealed the current relationship status of her brother, actor Jak Roberto.
The actor was in a relationship with actress Barbie Forteza for seven years. However, the latter announced their breakup in January, which became the first confirmed celebrity breakup of this year in the Philippines.
The actress did not reveal the reason for their breakup but stressed the happy memories they had together. Because of this, somehow, the actor was accused of cheating.
Previously, Barbie Forteza shared in an interview that she is enjoying being single right now. She said that she is taking her time getting to know herself more and discovering new things about herself.
In a recent interview, based on the article in NewsKo, Sanya Lopez was asked about the current love life of her brother. She said that the last time she saw Jak Roberto, there was no hint that he had a new love life.
“Nung nagkita rin kasi kami, wala akong nafi-feel sa kaniya na meron siya. Feeling ko nandoon siya sa moment na ini-enjoy pa niya ‘yung pagiging single kasi seven years sila ni Barbie,” Sanya said.
The actress also said that Jak and Barbie’s seven-year relationship was not a joke. However, she said that the former couple has the right to be happy and to find the person who will make them happy.
When asked about the JakBie breakup, Sanya shared that she and Barbie saw each other at the recent Thanksgiving party, and they haven’t talked about the breakup, but she respected whatever happened between Jak and Barbie.
Sanya said that she and Barbie congratulated each other because of the recognition they received. “I respect their breakup. Kung ano man ‘yung issue na pinagdaanan nila, kung ano man, it’s between Barbie and my kuya. Hindi ako ‘yung tipo ng tao na sasali,” the sister of Jak Roberto added.
