Here’s what Aga Muhlach said as his son, Andres, receives his first award as an actor.
Award-winning actor Aga Muhlach is proud of his son, Andres Muhlach, as he finally receives his first award as an actor.
The 38th PMPC Star Awards for Television named Andres Muhlach as the “Best New Male TV Personality” for his work in the TV5 sitcom Da Pers Family. He bested fellow nominees Drei Arias, Dylan Menor, Jarren Garcia, Jay Ortega, Jeremiah Cruz, JM Ibarra, Matthew Uy, Ralph De Leon, and Sean John Bialoglovski.
“Two years ago, I received an award on behalf of my father. At aaminin ko at that time, sobrang kinakabahan ako. Two years later, nandito ako receiving my first award, at siyempre kinakabahan pa rin ako,” Andres said as he received his first award.
He is grateful for the recognition and also expressed his gratitude to Viva, TV5, and his family. His father is the multi-awarded actor Aga Muhlach and actress Charlene Gonzales. His twin sister, Atasha Muhlach, has also joined the industry already.
In an Instagram post, his father gushed about his first show business accolade and Aga is a proud father.
“Blessings coming your way, son. Keep up the good work. God be with you always. Always remember, His plans not ours. Congratulations!!! Proud of you ! Love you, man!,” he expressed, taking pride in his son’s achievement.
As much as we all know, the Muhlach family is the lead in the sitcom that brought the award to the young actor.
In the same post, Aga also expressed his appreciation to Atasha, who will lead the Philippine TV series adaptation of the 2017 Thai movie Bad Genius. Currently, Andres is one of the leads of the Viva One hit series Ang Mutya ng Section E alongside Ashtine Olviga and Rabin Angeles.
