Kakai Bautista talked about being single
Comedienne-singer Kakai Bautista has this advice for people who are not in a relationship.
Kakai has provided laughter and entertainment to many people through his funny characters on TV and in movies. Aside from being a comedienne, she is also known as the “Dental Diva” because of her powerful voice. She was even the voice behind the theme song of the TV show Maynila.
In a recent guesting on GMA’s Your Honor, hosted by Tuesday Vargas and Buboy Villar, based on the article in Bandera, Kakai was the honorable guest regarding the topic of love and relationships.

Kakai Bautista shared that she has been single for a long time already. She believes that love is something that is not being forced.
However, she pointed out that there is nothing wrong is a person exploring things that could lead to meeting a significant other.
“Kasi nga guys, ang ikli ng buhay naman. Go lang nang go, pero huwag mong kalilimutang maging responsible and mahalin mo rin ang sarili mo,” Kakai said.
The comedienne highlighted that sometimes, single people tend to just go and go without considering being responsible, and because of this, other people may be affected.

“So dapat go nang go pero responsible,” she stressed. Kakai also shared that she is open to the possibility of having an AFAM boyfriend. She revealed that this was not her preference before.
The comedienne shared that she would tell foreigners before that if they want to date her, they should go to the Philippines or they have to make their way to see her.
With this, Kakai Bautista recalled that time when she was in Switzerland and a guy approached her. The guy asked her if he could buy her a drink. She said that she displayed a “pakipot” attitude. “Siyempre nagpanggap akong pakipot. ‘No, I can buy my own drink,’” she shared.
