Motorcycle Rider Hit by Speeding Motorcycle Taxi Trying to Beat Stoplight
A motorcycle rider shared his experience after being hit by a rushing motorcycle taxi trying to beat a stoplight.
Recently, the Facebook page VISOR shared the post of a netizen named Nacio Kej, who was involved in an accident. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited comments from netizens.
According to Nacio, the incident happened on March 15, 2025. He had already stopped at a yellow light when a motorcycle taxi, trying to cross before the light turned red, crashed into the back of his bike.

The impact was not too severe since the other motorcycle hit his top box, causing him to lose balance but not fall completely.
The rider of the motorcycle taxi repeatedly apologized and offered a small amount of money for a medical check-up, saying it was all he had at the time. Fortunately, Nacio did not suffer any serious injuries, and the passenger of the motorcycle taxi was also unharmed.
Many online users expressed their frustration over the incident, saying that motorcycle taxis should be more cautious on the road.

Some pointed out that rushing to beat a stoplight can lead to dangerous accidents, not only for the riders but also for their passengers and other motorists. Others advised riders to always be alert, even when they have the right of way.
The incident reminds Filipino motorists to prioritize safety over speed. Following traffic rules and staying patient on the road can prevent unnecessary accidents and injuries.

“Nadale din ako ng MC taxi last March 15, 2025. Naghahabol ng stoplight porke nagmamadali (daw) ang pasahero nila. Nag-stop na ako pero dahil yellow na, gusto pa makatawid. Ending bunggo sya sa likod ko. Buti top box sya bumangga at out of balance lang ako. Sorry lang sya nang sorry at nagbigay lang ng pang-check up ko dahil ayun lang daw meron sya that time. Thankful na wala ako serious injury and yung passenger nya.”
