Lady Netizen Slams Hospital for Showing Lack of Empathy for her Sick Child
RIZAL MEDICAL CENTER – A lady netizen expressed her frustration over how a hospital allegedly treated her sick child.
Recently, Trisha Mae Rejano, a Facebook user, shared her experience at a medical center where she brought her six-year-old child for a check-up. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Rejano claimed that the hospital staff treated her and her child poorly, showing a lack of empathy, especially during a blood test. According to her, the doctors and nurses appeared impatient and scolded the child for crying and struggling during the procedure.
When she tried to explain that it was normal for young children to react that way, she said the medical staff responded with insensitive remarks, making her feel unwelcome.
Frustrated by the situation, she decided to take her child to a private hospital instead, despite the higher cost.
Trisha expressed relief that in the private facility, they were treated with kindness and professionalism, showing the huge difference in patient care between the two institutions.
