Teenage Boy Stabbed by Best Friend’s Boyfriend After Sending ‘I Love You’ Message

A teenage boy was stabbed by his girl best friend’s boyfriend after sending her an ‘I Love You’ message.

Jealousy is an emotion that comes from the fear of losing something or someone important to you, especially in relationships. It often happens when a person feels threatened by the attention or affection their loved one gives to someone else.

Jealousy can lead to feelings of insecurity, anger, or resentment, and if not handled well, it can cause conflicts or misunderstandings. However, in small amounts, it can also show that someone deeply cares. The key is to manage jealousy in a healthy way through trust and communication.

Recently, a 17-year-old boy in Cebu was injured and rushed to the hospital after being stabbed by the boyfriend of his girl best friend. The attack happened after the suspect became jealous upon seeing a message that the victim had sent.

According to the victim, Dodong, he was eating at home when the suspect suddenly barged in, furious, and attacked him with a knife. The reason for the anger was a message Dodong had sent to his best friend that day, simply saying, “I love you.” This made the suspect jealous, thinking there was something more to their friendship.

Dodong explained that he only sent the message to comfort his best friend, who was going through a tough time. He insisted that he was just naturally affectionate towards his female friends and had no romantic intentions.

In the end, the victim and the suspect settled the issue, with the latter covering all the hospital expenses. However, the situation led to the girl breaking up with her boyfriend, the suspect in the stabbing incident.
