Eric Quizon says he is always praying for Kris Aquino
Actor-director Eric Quizon shared his thoughts on the health struggle of his friend Kris Aquino.
Eric belongs to one of the most popular showbiz clans in the Philippine entertainment industry. He is a son of the late Comedy King Dolphy. Aside from being a versatile actor, Eric also ventured into directing. He has worked with a lot of prominent people in the entertainment industry throughout his career.
One of these prominent names was Kris. They first worked together in the movie The Vizconde Massacre Story (God Help Us!) in 1991 and in So Happy Together in 2004.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Eric Quizon was asked about his reaction to the present situation of Kris Aquino.
The female celebrity has been suffering because of her autoimmune diseases. Eric shared that lately, he has not talked to Kris. “Hindi ko siya nakakausap lately because ayaw ko lang pag-usapan namin if ever ‘yung malungkot siya, ‘yung sitwasyon niya, ‘yung pinagdadaanan niya,” he said.
However, the actor-director said that he is praying for Kris’s recovery. He said that he would see posts about his friend’s condition and these saddened him because these are about someone he loves and his friend.
“Mararamdaman mo ‘yung pinagdadaanan niya. I really wish her the best. She has suffered so much. You wouldn’t want anybody that you love na mapunta sa ganoong sitwasyon,” Eric shared.
Then, he shared that the last they talked about a year ago. He said in his message that he hoped Kris was okay and the latter replied with, “Thanks, Enrico.” Eric Quizon added that he is always praying for Kris.
Meanwhile, Kris Aquino’s recent update about her health became controversial. It was because she mentioned her ex-boyfriend Dr. Mike Padlan and said that he did not love her. However, the doctor’s son contradicted what Kris said and hoped that the celebrity would not spread untrue stories.
