A public school teacher in Camarines Sur has been arrested following multiple complaints of alleged molestation. 

Molestation refers to inappropriate or unwanted physical contact towards another person, often involving children or vulnerable individuals. It is considered a serious crime and can include actions such as touching, groping, or any behavior that violates a person’s personal boundaries without their consent.

Recently, the Facebook page Asintado Sa Radyo reported the arrest of a public school teacher who was arrested over molestation charges. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.  

Authorities served the warrant of arrest around 10:30 AM on March 17, 2025, at Zone 6, Brgy. Cabutagan, Lupi, Camarines Sur. The suspect, identified as “Fredie,” a 29-year-old single resident of the area, was taken into custody by the tracker team of Pamplona MPS. 

The teacher is facing two counts of Lascivious Conduct under Section 5 (B) of RA 7610, also known as the Anti-Child Abuse Law. The court has denied bail for the charges, emphasizing the seriousness of the case.

The warrant was issued by the Family Court RTC Branch 28 in Naga City on March 14, 2025. Following the arrest, the suspect was placed under police custody as legal proceedings move forward. 

The incident shows the importance of safeguarding children and ensuring their protection, especially in places meant for learning. It also raise awareness and concern among parents, educators, and the community. 

Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
