Ruru Madrid is proud of his current series
Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid teased exciting episodes of his primetime series Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan.
Ruru is one of the most famous actors of his generation. He has done major projects that boosted his career in the entertainment industry.
Last year, he received a big break when he was chosen to play the role of a jail officer in the movie Green Bones, alongside Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo. Because of this movie, Dennis got his second Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor trophy.
Through Green Bones, Ruru Madrid also got his first MMFF trophy. He was hailed as the Best Supporting Actor last year. This just showed that he could showcase his acting caliber.
Currently, Ruru has his primetime series, the Book 2 of his part series, Lolong. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the actor shared an exciting information to their avid viewers.
“Para bang hindi ko nararamdaman ‘yung pagod. Mas na-e-excite ako sa mga magiging bagong istorya ng Lolong dahil ibang-iba. Ibang-ibang aksiyon at ibang-ibang drama ang inyong mapapanood ngayon,” the actor said.
For the eighth week of the Kapuso action-drama series, Ruru’s character Lolong will be in an underground fighting ring of Julio, the character played by John Arcilla. In there, he will meet Dona, the antagonist played by Jean Garcia, with her son Ivan, played by Martin del Rosario.
“Nag-sanib pwersa sila — si Julio, si Dona, si Ivan. Lahat ‘yun ay laban kay Lolong kaya abangan natin kung papano ba ito lalabanan. Magtatagumpay nga ba ang kabutihan sa kasamaan?” Ruru Madrid shared.
Lolong in Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan airs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 p.m. on GMA Prime. It has a delayed telecast on GTV at 9:40 p.m. and Kapuso fans can also watch this online via Kapuso Stream.
