Pia Wurtzbach ‘Know When To Peak, Pull Back’ Mantra, Netizens Contradict

Pia Wurtzbach shared in a video why she didn’t finish Paris Fashion Week

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach said in a recent video her mantra stating “know when to peak and when to pull back.”

The video came after Pia had to cut short her stint in the Paris Fashion Week. She was not able to finish the whole week. In her video, she said that it saddened her that she had to leave so soon.

The rising fashion influencer explained that she had some commitments in Manila that she needed to attend to, aside from her personal errands. She wished that she could have stayed longer because her adrenaline was still there.

Since March is the International Women’s Month, Pia had to do a lot of things, including her youth center. She will do a talk for She Talks Asia, as well. All of these are happening in the next couple of days.

The beauty queen-turned-fashion influencer admitted that she was still feeling high with her PFW stint, but she had to calm down because she got to go home. Pia shared that she wanted to go to Rome for Bvlgari but her Dior fitting could not be moved to a later date. So, she went to Rome and went back to Paris on the same day to make this happen.

Even though we feel we’re missing out because we’re not finishing the whole week, I’m really trusting the advice I got,” she shared about the career advice she received from the people she respects.

“Know when to peak, you should know when to pull back, and then when to push forward, so balance is key” Pia said.

This was shared on a popular showbiz site and netizens who commented on this did not believe her explanation. For some netizens, it was just an excuse because she did not receive more invites. Some netizens also said that Pia is no longer in the beauty pageant stage and should stop thinking that this is a competition.

A netizen also pointed out that “know when to peak” is actually not a good advice because as Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray said, there should be consistency. Here are some comments.
