Kitty Duterte Badmouthed Gen. Torre for Refusing to Disclose Where FPRRD Would be Taken
Veronica Kitty Duterte expressed her frustration toward CIDG Chief Nicolas Torre III after he repeatedly refused to disclose where her father was being taken.
On her Instagram account, the daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte shared a video of a heated exchange between former Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and Torre. Medialdea was demanding clarification on the transfer process, but Torre stood firm, stating that they were prepared to enforce the order by any means necessary.
Torre made it clear that they had the authority to proceed with the transfer, regardless of any objections. When pressed for details about the aircraft’s destination, he declined to answer, fueling more frustration among Duterte’s camp.
“Eto lang ‘yung sinasabi ko sa inyo na we can do this hard way, we can do this easy way,” Torre said.
At one point, Kitty, who was recording the scene, could no longer hold back her anger. Her voice rose in frustration as she demanded an answer, making it clear that she was not willing to accept unclear responses.
“Sabihin niyo kung saan siya dalahin. T*ng i#a ka,” Kitty said.
Meanwhile, Duterte’s legal team remained hopeful that the Supreme Court would grant a temporary restraining order (TRO) to halt the transfer. They continued to push for legal remedies, seeking to prevent the former president from being taken out of the country.
Reports suggested that the aircraft was headed for The Hague, Netherlands, where Duterte could potentially face trial before the International Criminal Court (ICC).
However, his supporters remained determined to challenge the move, insisting on due process and legal proceedings within the Philippines.
