Ivana Alawi does not let fame get into her head
Kapamilya actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi shared her thoughts on the status of her popularity in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Ivana is one of the most successful female celebrities of her generation. Aside from her acting stints, she became immensely famous because of her YouTube channel with millions of subscribers.
As a social media influencer, Ivana also has a lot of endorsement projects. Her popularity skyrocketed with just one simple video in which she was doing her laundry.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Ivana talked about her concept of fame. Ivana Alawi is definitely aware of her popularity status.
However, she is not letting this enter her system like this is the most important thing in her life. Despite her success and what she is earning now, she remained who she is before these things came into her life.
“Huwag mong ilagay sa ulo mo. ‘Yun ‘yun. Huwag mong ilagay sa ulo mo. Kung ano man ang nangyayari, sumisikat ka, ang importante ay huwag mong ilagay sa ulo mo,” the Kapamilya actress said.
She also stressed that ranking or rating is not that important for her. Ivana does not mind being at the top of the list.
“Hindi ko kasi iniisip ang mga top. Wala talaga. Ine-enjoy ko lang talaga siya. Kapag inisip ko, mababaliw at mapre-pressure lang ako. Enjoy lang,” she admitted.
Behind her fame, Ivana still enjoys simple things like spending her time with her family and doing things to focus on her health, and taking care of herself.
She shared that she and her family would have their bonding moments like cooking and eating together. For her, these things cannot be bought by money and eventually, she can’t bring the luxury items when a certain time comes, like when she was hospitalized.
“Mayaman ako sa pagmamahal, sa pamilya. ‘Yung pera, mawawala rin ‘yan. Contented ako kung anong mayroon ako.” Ivana Alawi said.
