Recently, Louiegie Brocoy, a Facebook user, shared his experience of collecting toys from a popular fast-food chain to complete his collection. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Brocoy recounted how he visited a Jollibee branch late at night to collect limited-edition toys from the Jollibee x Sanrio series. Since he was the only customer at that time, most of the staff gathered around as he unboxed his purchases.
Initially, he bought three meal sets that came with toys, but after getting a duplicate, he decided to buy four more in hopes of completing his set.
As he continued unboxing, the staff noticed his excitement and asked if the toys were for his child. He responded with a long silence before admitting that the collection was actually for himself.
Louiegie was determined to get all six toys, even if it meant ending up with extra meals he hadn’t planned on eating right away. He got Pompompurin twice, which initially upset him. However, he was thrilled when he got Hello Kitty, a rare piece.
His excitement grew as he unboxed Cinnamoroll, My Melody, and Pochaco. The final draw was the most intense moment he hoped for Kuromi to complete the set. The last toy turned out to be exactly what he needed.
By the end of his toy hunt, he had successfully completed his collection. However, he jokingly noted that his food had already gone cold.

“3:00AM Kasama ko mag unbox yung most of the staff ng Jollibee, kasi ako lang customer that time!
Tatlo lang talaga initial purchase ko kaya I decided na bumili pa ng apat pa kasi malas yung 3rd pull. Siguro nakaramdam yung staff na gusto ko makumpleto! Pero sabi ko talaga sana yung wala ako yung ibigay nila.
Staff: Para sa anak niyo po ba?
Me: (long silence) para sa AKIN po
Grabe ka adikan ko sa gacha! Pati ba naman #Jollibee x #Sanrio di ko pinalampas. So ano gagawin ko sa extrang spag at burger 7 of 6, may duped kasi na Pompompuri!
