BONGBONG MARCOS – The Philippine President who endorses 12 senators advised the voters not to listen to “all talk” candidates in the 2025 Elections.

There are several political parties in the Philippines but there are those that merged and formed the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago. The senatorial slate of Pres. Bongbong Marcos was expected to include her sister, Sen. Imee Marcos.

However, what was quite unexpected was that Sen. Imee Marcos left the senatorial slate of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. According to her, she does not want to put her brother in an uncomfortable situation and she also wants to be friend with everyone.

Despite the withdrawal of her sister, the President insisted that the Alyansa will still endorse her senatorial bid. He also expressed that she is welcome if she decides to join them in campaign sorties.

The Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago has 12 senatorial bets. Here are the candidates in the 2025 Midterm Elections endorsed by Marcos Jr. and the alliance:

  • Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos
  • Makati City Mayor Abby Binay
  • Senator Pia Cayetano
  • Sen. Lito Lapid
  • Sen. Francis Tolentino
  • Senator Ramon ”Bong” Revilla Jr.
  • former Sen. Manny Pacquiao
  • former Senator Panfilo Lacson
  • former Senator Vicente Sotto III,
  • Deputy Speaker Camille Villar
  • former Social Welfare and Development Secretary Erwin Tulfo

The Alyansa already held 7 campaign rallies since they had their first event in Central Luzon. Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos spoke and told the voters in the rally to reject the candidates who are “all talk”.

“Let us not listen to people who are all talk. We should elect public officials who are all action,” the President said as per a report on Inquirer.

Pres. Marcos stressed that the senatorial slate of the alliance is composed of former and current officials of the government. Based on the report, the Chief Executive said in a speech at the City College of San Jose del Monte grounds that the candidates they endorse are “people in public service”.

“It is very clear that they already know the job of being in the government… Sometimes, they no longer talk about their plans, they just do their jobs,” he said.

The statement of Pres. Bongbong Marcos is contrary to the advise of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte who told the voters to not vote based on the last name but listen to the accomplishments and platforms of the candidates.
