Recently, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte has thrown another claim against Pres. Bongbong Marcos Jr. Duterte claimed that Marcos Jr. may declare Martial Law just like his namesake, the late former dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

The former President made the statement at a rally in Cebu. According to him, Marcos Jr. may either resort to declaring a Martial Law to extend his stay in Malacañang or having someone to replace him in the position. However, according to the former President, no one can beat VP Sara, thus, the President’s camp is allegedly damaging her reputation.

Recently, Malacañang issued a statement on the “dictatorship” tirades of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte against Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Palace called Duterte a “one-man fake-news factory”.

“This hoax is another budol emerging from a one-man fake-news factory,” the Palace said.

According to Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the Palace treat Duterte’s “baseless and ridiculous statements” the way that the Filipino people allegedly dismiss them. Based on the report, he stressed that the Marcos admin has shown its commitment to upholding the Constitution.

“We will not backslide into the oppressive ways of the previous administration, when critics were jailed upon trumped-up charges and when kill orders were publicly issued with glee and obeyed blindly,” Malacañang said.
