In a vlog, Jeraldine of the Blackman Family announces separation from her partner.
BLACKMAN FAMILY – Jeraldine and Josh Blackman, a family famous on the internet have separated as confirmed in a video.
The Blackman family consists of a Filipino mother Jeraldine, an Australian father Joshua, and their kids, Nimo and Jette. Their family became famous on the internet because of their videos featuring daily updates done in an entertaining way.
The family has a massive online presence with millions of followers on various social media platforms. Last year they visited the Philippines for several brand engagements. They also held a meet-and-greet event at a mall in Taguig City which coincided with their donation drive. It was a jam-packed event.
Recently, many hearts were broken as in a video, Jeraldine tearfully announced that she and Josh are no longer together. Despite their separation, they decided to remain friends and they will co-parent their children Jette and Nimo.
“Josh and I have separated. We’re good friends. I just know that he is a good person and he is the best father that Jette and Nimo could ever have,” she said.
In the post, she was inside her car crying as she addressed their millions of followers by revealing the truth to them. She only had good things to say about Josh who is a great dad and a friend.
She thanked their supporters and also apologized for how things unpleasantly turned out to be. For her, the last three years were amazing and among the best ones. She quipped, “Thank you for loving the Blackman family.”
Meanwhile, Jeraldine and Joshua met through eHarmony, an Australian dating app that happened around 2014 and 2015. At that time, she was a working student taking up a nursing course in Australia while Josh was already a nurse.
In 2017, they got married. They started creating videos years ago and most of their content was about the dynamic of an interracial couple and their family activities.
