Nadine Lustre is vocal about her political stand
Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre expressed her support for the Mamamayang Liberal Party-list with former Senator Leila de Lima as its first nominee.
In the 2022 presidential elections, Nadine openly supported the tandem of former Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Kiko Pangilinan. She is known for having no fear to express her beliefs and what she stands for which is just one of the things that her fans admire about her.
For this year’s midterm elections, Nadine once again used her voice and influence to endorse a politician.

Based on the article in Inquirer, Nadine Lustre was featured in a campaign video for the party-list group Mamamayang Liberal.
The actress vouched for Leila de Lima as its first nominee, pointing out that the former Senator suffered injustice in the past administration. The party-list chose Teddy Baguilat and Erin Tañada as second and third nominees.

“Si Manay Leila De Lima, ilang taong kinulong nang walang kasalanan, pero lumaban. Ngayon, kasama niya ang ML party-list para ipaglaban ang katarungan, pananagutan at tunay na representasyon,” Nadine said in the campaign video.
In the comment section, many netizens agreed with Nadine and also expressed support for the former Senator.
Meanwhile, Nadine Lustre has become more active in doing movie than teleseryes these past few years. The most recent movie she did was Uninvited which was included in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024.
After her loveteam with her former reel and real-life boyfriend James Reid was dissolved, the actress tried more mature roles and ventured into different genres. She has proven her acting caliber with the Best Actress awards that she received from her past projects.
Last year, she was hailed as the Best Actress at the 2024 PMPC Star Awards for Movies for her role in the movie Deleter.
