ELLEN ADARNA – Actress Ellen Adarna and her son Elias win hearts with their adorable Elias and Mama Show, capturing the love and laughter of fans online.
Celebrity mom Ellen Adarna once again brought joy to her fans after sharing an entertaining video of the “Elias and Mama Show” on Instagram. In the post, Ellen and her son, Elias Modesto, can be seen happily participating in the popular ‘Dalgona’ challenge from the hit Korean series Squid Game.
In the caption of her post, Ellen shared that it was Elias himself who requested her to upload their challenge. “Elias and Mama Show. Squid Game Dalgona Episode. He asked me to post this, soooo… here it is,” Ellen wrote.
In the video, Ellen holds a Dalgona candy with a circle in the center, while Elias has one shaped like a star. As they attempt to break the candy according to their designated shapes, Elias suddenly asks if he can “cheat,” to which his mother quickly says no.
Despite their efforts, the challenge proved to be difficult, especially when Ellen tried to help Elias break his candy, but they still failed. At the end of the video, Ellen playfully asks her son who won and who lost, to which Elias responds in his sweet voice.
The video quickly gained praise and positive comments from netizens. Many were delighted by the mother-and-son’s closeness and their natural chemistry on camera.

It is well known that Elias Modesto is Ellen Adarna’s son with veteran actor John Lloyd Cruz. Although Ellen and John Lloyd are no longer together as a couple, they have successfully maintained a co-parenting setup for their son. Many also admire their parenting arrangement.
In 2021, during an online Q&A, Ellen described John Lloyd as a “present father.” Meanwhile, in 2024, John Lloyd shared that he considers their smooth co-parenting arrangement a great blessing. This proves that despite going their separate ways, they continue to work together for Elias’ well-being.
