A barangay kagawad from Bacolod City is determined to file a case against an American national who allegedly kicked him.

On February 8, 2025, a barangay watchman is planning to file charges against an American national who allegedly kicked him during an incident on Aguinaldo Street, Bacolod City. The incident garnered various reactions online.

The complainant, identified as Rene Mark Bejimeno, is a resident of Barangay 34, Bacolod City, while the suspect, known as Isaac, is an American national temporarily residing in Cauayan town.

According to Police Major Eugene Tolentino, Station Commander of Bacolod City Police Station 2, a witness has already come forward regarding the incident. Authorities are currently studying the charges that will be filed against the foreigner.

Further investigations are ongoing to confirm if the American national has been involved in previous altercations in Bacolod City. Reports suggest that he frequently visits the city and wanders around.

The incident began when Rene was waiting inside his vehicle with his wife and child after buying food. The suspect suddenly approached their car and allegedly began pounding on it. This led to a confrontation between the two, during which Isaac reportedly tried to kick Rene.
