Sandro Marcos signs vice president’s impeachment rap and President Bongbong Marcos has this reaction.
This is what President Bongbong Marcos said about his son Sandro Marcos’ top signatory in the impeachment rap.
Five relatives of President Bongbong Marcos signed the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte. One of them is his son Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos whose signature was on top of the list.

In the impeachment complaint, the six major allegations are:
- Conspiracy to Assassinate President Marcos, First Lady, and Speaker Romualdez
- Malversation of P612.5 Million in Confidential Funds
- Bribery and Corruption in DepEd
- Unexplained Wealth and Failure to Disclose Assets
- Involvement in Extrajudicial Killings (Davao Death Squad)
- Destabilization, Insurrection, and Public Disorder
As noted, the threat of the vice president topped the list and to recall, Duterte received a subpoena for apparently threatening the president’s life. Despite this, Marcos said numerous times he did not want Duterte to be impeached yet his son signed the complaint.

What is his reaction to this?
His son has asked his opinion regarding the matter which he shared during a press briefing and what he told Sandro was to do his duty. He understands what comes with his position as a public servant and he knows that he is “constitutionally mandated to carry out the process”.
“I didn’t know that he’d be the first to sign,” the president said.
Meanwhile, the other four relatives of the president who signed the complaint are Speaker Romualdez, his wife Tingog Representative Yedda, TUCP Representative Democrito Mendoza (Yedda’s uncle), and North Cotabato 3rd District Representative Ma. Alana Samantha Santos (Yedda’s cousin).
